What exactly is poly? It’s recycled plastic formatted to create durable outdoor furniture. The recycled plastic is broken down and melded into a High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) product. HDPE is a lumber substitute manufactured into similar-looking wood boards that make up all outdoor furniture. A couple of decades ago, Marine-Grade Polymer (MGP) entered the poly furniture market. Steps of Creating Poly Lumber.

Polyethylene plastic, commonly used in manufacturing mixed plastics, is gathered to be recycled.
Recycled plastic is ground, melted, and cooled to produce purified plastic pellets, tested to maintain the highest quality control standards
Pellets are melted, extruded and shaped into precision-cut poly lumber

Wash furniture regularly with C.R. Plastic Products Inc cleaners or non-abrasive soap and water.
AVOID:

Pressure Washers- when nozzle is placed too close to plastic it can shew and/or fray the plastic leaving a fuzzy look to the plastic and allowing atmospheric dirt and particles to get inside the plastic. Over time the furniture will look dirty and will never clean to its original look.
Placing flower pots or any items on furniture that will leave stains
Placing hot item directly onto furniture to avoid melting

Warranty.

Limited 25 year residential and 5 year commercial warranty for C.R. Plastic Inc. Products high density polyethylene (HDPE) frames.

C.R. Plastic Products Inc warranties to the original purchaser for a period of up to 25 years for residential use and up to 5 years for commercial use from the date of original invoice. C.R. Plastic Products Inc shall be free from material defects and shall not splinter, crack or sustain structural damage.

Transferability: This limited warranty is NON-TRANSFERABLE

General Warranty Conditions.

C.R. Plastic Products Inc shall not be liable for any failure, defect or damage resulting from or connect with the following:

C.R. Plastic Products Inc HDPE products are made with automotive grade UV stabilizers to minimize fading; however upon exposure to the sun all colors may fade to some degree over time.
Color or pattern variance between any new replacement section or pieces and other sections or pieces. (C.R. Plastic Products Inc reserves the right to discontinue or modify any product line or color without notifying the original purchaser. If the original piece is not available, C.R. Plastic Products Inc retains the right to choose to provide replacement material to equal value or quality.)
Damage caused by acts of God, accident, neglect or abuse.

Some expansion and contraction is to be expected due to extreme changes in humidity and temperature.

Swivel Component, Gliding Mechanism, and Stainless Steel Hardware.

The swivel components and gliding mechanism are warranted not to structurally fail for 5 years residential use or 3 years of commercial use. Stainless steel hardware is warranted not to structurally fail for a period of up to 5 years for residential use and 3 years for commercial use. (from date of purchase.)

Sunbrella Fabric Warranty.

Subrella warranties to the original purchaser a 5 year limited warranty for upholstery and specialty fabrics from date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear effect on their cushions, headrests, lumbar and throw pillows by regular use. Neither does it cover damage due to unauthorized repairs or alterations, negligence, misuse or abuse, improper assembly, improper cleaning and acts of God. For more warranty details, please refer to www.subrella.com. This warranty also covers and defects in the manufacturing and workmanship of the listed products for a period of 90 days.

Cushions.

C.R. Plastic Products Inc warranties to the original purchaser for a period of 1 year from date of purchase. It does not cover due to unauthorized repairs or alterations, negligence, misuse or abuse, improper assembly, improper cleaning and acts of God.

The original purchaser is responsible for providing proof of purchase, pictures of the defect and a written description. Possible solutions are replacement or repair of the defective furniture, replacement or repair of defective components, or authorized repairs by a third party. Warranty claims may be submitted to any of our authorized C.R. Plastic Products Inc. Dealers or directly to C.R. Plastic Products Inc. Once the documentation has been received and evaluated, the customer will be notified of the solution. If the product is not returned within 60 days of the date of purchase, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges that may apply.
