We stand behind our craftsmanship and materials, ensuring your retreat remains beautiful and functional for years to come. Below is a detailed breakdown of our limited warranty coverage for the original purchaser.
Poly Furniture Warranty (HDPE and MGP)
Berlin Gardens warrants that our poly furniture products will be free of original defects in workmanship and materials.
- Residential Use: Twenty (20) Year Limited Warranty
- Commercial Use: Five (5) Year Limited Warranty
What is Covered:
- Structural Integrity: Furniture is warranted against defects that affect the use or stability of the piece.
- Stainless Steel Fasteners: Warranted not to fail structurally for the applicable period. While stainless steel is highly resistant, regular maintenance is required in coastal areas to prevent surface rust.
Special Item Coverage:
- Mayhew Stationary Adirondacks & Berkley Tables: 20 years residential / 2 years commercial.
- Folding Chairs & Accessories: 10 years residential / 2 years commercial.
- Aluminum Frames: 15 years residential / 10 years commercial.
- Sling Chair Frames: 10 years residential / 2 years commercial.
Warranty Details and Exclusions
HDPE is a synthetic product. Over time, you may notice slight fading from sunlight, minor scratches from use, or small stains from prolonged contact with outside substances. Because these do not affect the structural integrity of the poly furniture, they are not covered under this warranty. Additionally, some expansion and contraction of the poly lumber is normal during extreme temperature changes.
Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Unauthorized service, repairs, or product alterations.
- Abuse, misuse, or use of the product for anything other than its intended purpose.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Rusting fasteners or structural failure due to a lack of maintenance in coastal environments.
Should you discover a defect, Berlin Gardens will, at its option, repair or replace the product or component. If your specific model is no longer available, a substitution of equal or greater value will be provided. Claims must be made in writing within ten (10) days of the warranty expiration. The purchaser is responsible for all shipping and handling costs associated with warranty service.
